Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am running the project Volunt2Thai. I can introduce you the idea of Volunt2Thai and I hope that you may like it and communicate our message also to other people, so they will also know about it.

Dear visitor
If you are considering bringing your talents to us as a volunteer there are a few things that you should know. V2T is an independent campus and cultural centre authorised by the government to help and support children and young people through education. It is a non profit making organisation operating without government grants so as a volunteer you will be required to fund your own stay. The current cost of volunteering is 460 Euro/month/ or 114 Euro a week. Minimum stay would be one week.
To provide effective support and aid to the children and the wider community we aim to provide our volunteers, students and interns with the infrastructure and tools required for you to carry out your tasks efficiently. As V2T is not a commercial operation with the means to generate income sources, we are dependent on the generosity of our supporters and donors.
Our resources are used to cover the cost of the continued expansion of the campus, the upkeep and maintenance of the growing infrastructure, training aids for classroom work, transportation, food, utilities and accommodation. For a similar monthly outlay of a local inhabitant living 'Thai Style' we aim to provide you with a comfortable environment for the duration of your stay. If you think that this sounds like the experience you are looking for we would love to hear from you.
V2T is 1,5 hour drive from Udon Thani by bus - all participants must apply at our website http://www.volunt2thai.com/apply-yourself
Best regards
Raimund

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
convince people to help and support each other
Teach, Learn, Share
The children of our village need support, we need high educated people helping and supporting the next generations of the villagers children. So they will have maybe a chance to have a better life when they are adult.
