I am 20 years old and currently living in Granada, Spain for a semester abroad. Back in the states I am working on my undergrad in Spanish Education and hope to go on to get my masters in linguistics. I'm a pretty big nerd for both video games/movies and the outdoors! I love hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, and basically anything that gives me an excuse to be outside for extended periods of time! I'm not really a party person and I am sometimes shy when I first meet people (especially if it is a big group) but I warm up quickly and I think I am a really fun, genuine person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm fairly new to couchsurfing, since I haven't had a couch that was mine to offer to surfers until a couple of years ago. I love learning about new cultures and think the best way to do so is to connect with locals wherever you travel. I am a tad shy, and I am hoping couchsurfing will help me reach out more when I travel instead of staying within my own little bubble.
