About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Paris, paris, what you have in store for me?

ABOUT ME

What makes me happy:

Italian food, humor, beautiful wine, tasty beer, friends, good movies, when you tickle me under my feet (haha) , dancing, children and their honesty, a random smile from a stranger, writing, music, James Marsters, traveling to see the world, when I feel free to do whatever I want, waking up at the beginning of a beautiful day not being sure yet where I might end up by the end of it, (window)shopping, compliments

What makes me sad:

Animals and people being tortured or abused, people misunderstanding me all the time, people who feel insecure about themself while the truth is there is beauty to anyone

What makes me angry:

Men old enough to be my dad that fancy me, racism, cheating, lies, people who fake being friendly with other people all the time.

Me:
Extravert.
I speak my mind.
Curious like a kid.
Enjoying small and big things in life.
I heart food.
Interested in the different cultures on our globe.
I trust you unless you give me a reason not to.
Sometimes a little naive.
Good-crazy.
Spiritual, but still down to earth.
I like to cheer people up and be of help.

PHILOSOPHY

A few quotes I personally like:
"You can always start over"

"Hakunama TATA! What a wonderful phrase!"

"Rather think about what you want instead of what you don't want"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm offering my couch. ^^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Milan, Amsterdam and Paris. In Paris a lot of CS meetings in general and staying with a couchsurfer.

Interests

I have very various interests
For a start I do love going to the movies especially those with a good story line.

Stories!
I love to write. Poems, monologue, stories. I have enjoyed doing this since I was nine years old.
Currently I'm doing children's stories on creatures like fairies, unicorns, mermaids and other mythological stuff.

English is my favourite language to speak because it's fun. I feel very connected to the UK and someday I would actually like to travel all over the place.

Also I have started to learn the Italian language, because it's pretty ^^

Meeting new people is what I really like to do. I'm always very curious about different cultures and like to meet people all over the world.

My music taste is very various. From pop to punk to reggae to rock. The only music style I can't stand is hardcore.

For the rest of it: i love to write stories and poems.
And I love to sing.

Something that really interest me as well are dreams.
I have been reading on to books about them since I was a teenager and I do practice in Lucid Dreaming.

And last but not least: I love cooking.
It relaxes me and I think I'm quite good at it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had beer with Nicholas Brandon who plays Xander on Buffy. That was surreal.
Also I met James Marsters who played Spike on Buffy for several times now. Two amazing guys!

Basically life in general is kind of amazing, dude.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn: I would like to learn different languages. Italian, German, French, whatever language it is you speak, at least I want to know how to order beer!
Teach: I could teach you how to make a typical Dutch breakfast recipe.
