CURRENT MISSION

Make that "missions": 1) Discover the weirdness of as many places as possible, for these to grow on me, since fun's always where people do not check them out to be; and 2) Broaden the rainbow connections - time for LGBTs to be as worldly as everyone! ;)

ABOUT ME

I'm fun/never boring - I know not only where the parties are, but how to party, too.
I'm ultra-flexible - any sitch will do for me ;)
I'm knowledgeable - whether it's conversing about current events, or discussing about concepts, if you want to have someone who can carry conversations, then I'm your man ;)
I'm an explorer - there remains too much to be discovered to be close-minded.
I'm well-traveled - no matter how short the distance of the trip, I take it; there's always something fun in discovering new places and their people.
I'm straightforward - life's too short to waste time, is what I think.
I'm egalitarian - I give what I get, in the spirit of fairness.
I look after my friends - which I believe, is why you're a friend to begin with ;)
I'm always widening my circles.

Interests

I write (creative writing, as well as journalism).
I photograph.
I dance (now just frequently on the dancefloor) ;)
I do mixed media artworks.
I mix cocktails (learned in Sydney - and through a course, at that, not just while getting drunk) ;)
I do social research on LGBT-related topics.
I have the gift of gab, particularly on LGBT issues and sexual health, as well as environmentalism/greening in the Philippines - part of the advocacies I am involved with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Give lectures on HIV and AIDS, as well as sexual health to Deaf Filipinos - I know Filipino Sign Language, and I continue to be among the few Filipino advocates who can actually communicate in sign language.
2. Everytime I'm in a body of water - e.g. swam with sharks in Palawan, the whale sharks of Sorsogon, snorkeling in Gold Coast, et cetera.
3. Traversed the rolling terrain of Batanes on bike.
