ABOUT ME

My name is Benjamin! I am currently in Europe where I am spending most of my time exploring and painting and creating art with everyone I meet! I love to dance and dress up and create with my body through Ballet and dance and burlesque!

I love to play the guitar and I am always singing and making music! I love eating good food and I am a vegetarian! I love finding places and creating special moments with whoever I find them with!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't believe in ever concreting something like a personal philosophy into a box. We are always growing and changing everyday. I learn things everyday that contribute to my life in huge ways. To put it literally in a box gives it limitations.
I always live my life without reservations and will always choose having fun over something boring!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't stopped wandering around since I signed up to CS! I participate by meeting people who are new to Melbourne and showing them around our beautiful city! I have surfed many times all over australia! and I can't wait to do it in Europe starting July 2013! When I get home I will settle somewhere for a while and have as many fellow CS guys and gals as we can fit!

Interests

I love Ballet and dance and you will always find me stretching and bending and dancing around gardens. I love travelling through cities and looking for things that nobody notices. I play ukulele in subways on crowded trains. Reading books aloud in public places, listening to music all the time, picking fresh fruit from trees, walking my friends dogs, swimming in fountains, painting my face, painting everyone faces! hitchhiking to distant sleepy towns and always looking for my next adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday! Etta James! all kinds of music! everything! I love reading Douglas Adams, Kerouac, Huxley, Orwell, Neitzche and lots more. Some of my most loved films are Totoro and all Studio Ghibli, The Virgin Suicides, Amelie, Most films by Sophia Coppolla and Lars von trier and also I love short films about strange things

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every day that I am alive is the most amazing and precious thing I could do with my life! To give value to one thing over another would mean that those things were not as good! I can't wait to experience more amazing things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm skilled in many disciplines of Art and Printing! I can play guitar and sing! I can knit for days! Also I was in the circus for a long time so I can teach anyone how to do a standing back tuck.
