About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy the summer traveling! and finish school sometime soon...
ABOUT ME
I'm a grad student at MIT and am originally from the west coast of Canada. I promise that I'm not too much of a nerd! I'm in Paris for the summer doing an internship and trying to make the most of my weekend trips. I can speak French more than enough to get by and really want to practice it this summer as well. I really enjoy new people and hearing about their experiences.
When I travel I really enjoy getting out and walking around the cities that I'm in and seeing the sights and relaxing in cafés. I also really like seeing performances where I go, like the flamenco when I was in Madrid. Overall I'm a pretty chill and like to go with the flow for the most part.
PHILOSOPHY
1. Just trying to be more in the moment and seeing where life takes me.
2. The people you're with are the most important aspects of the places you visit and live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't participated yet, but am looking forward to just hanging out with locals and other travelers I meet! Potentially surfing the odd weekend.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any, but my friends have all had really good experiences!
Interests
Dancing (I used to dance in high school), playing soccer and other sports when I get the chance, skiing in the winter, traveling. Although I don't dance as much now I definitely like going to performing arts events when I can.
I think it is also worth mentioning that I am a big fan of dessert (especially chocolate)! Checking out the local sweets is definitely a favourite pastime.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Godfather is probably one of my favourite movies, but I like a range from comedy to dramas. I like most genres and will listen to different songs based on my mood, including Top 40. In so far as books I generally enjoy reading anything other than my textbooks when I get the chance.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the Great Wall of China was definitely one of my favourite destinations!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I know a lot about trains and can teach you how to tap dance if you really want to learn!
