About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To take advantage of opportunities that can have positive impact on life.
ABOUT ME
I appreciate the opportunity to visit new places and to learn about different cultures. I can learn something from every person I meet. My studies in pollination biology have taken me to South America and have now brought me to Israel. I see beautiful people and places wherever I go and I always want to know more. I am pretty easy-going, so I get along with just about everyone. I am a very positive, open-minded, and social person. I love to spend time with friends, meet new people, and have good times. My experiences shape me as a person and life has treated me well.
PHILOSOPHY
Be a good person to everyone you meet.
Don't let others get you down.
Never stop exploring and learning.
Live "in the now" as much as possible.
Take care of the planet to keep it healthier for longer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have now both hosted and surfed with great people. The meeting events are also a great way to meet people living in my area.
Interests
I love live music and to dance. I can be the only one in a room dancing and I don't care. I dabbled in salsa, samba, belly dancing, etc., but I prefer to just let the music move me. However, hula hooping has been a different type of "dance" that I really enjoy.
I love nature and to watch it happen around me. I can be amazed for hours just watching animals and plants (preferably interacting!) and I try to document the amazing moments with photography, when possible. I am happy doing pretty much anything outdoors: hiking, biking, rock climbing, etc. I took a scuba class before I started college (forever ago) and I hope to have an opportunity to do it outside of the pool someday. I always wanted to skydive, so I finally did it and it was amazing.
I also like to feed my creative side. I was into drawing and painting, but now I am more into making jewelery. I am mostly into bead-work, but I enjoy other styles as well. I spent some time making pottery and hope to get back to that sometime soon.
