ABOUT ME

I'm an English teacher currently living in Szczecin, Poland. I've been in Poland since August 2010. I grew up in the U.S., but I fell in love with travel at a young age. I spent a semester studying in France and have seen a bit of Europe.

Basically, my theory is that life is too short to waste any time - you've just got to live it. I love to get out into nature, to learn new things (I'll read just about anything I can get my hands on, and I'll ask you a million questions about your country if you give me a chance), and I loooove music - I used to be a punk rock girl, and still kind of am, but my taste has expanded quite a bit as I've grown. Basically, I'm just trying to find more and more ways to add meaning to the world we live in by helping others as well as improving myself. I love to try new things and am determined to conquer each of my big fears one by one by doing the things I'm afraid of. And it's nice to make friends along the way.
