About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To hear all the foreign accents I can!
ABOUT ME
I am very open minded and liberal. Equality is important to me and learning about other cultures and immersing myself in them are my favorites. I ask a lot of questions. A lot. I enjoy things that make me feel uncomfortable because that's growth. If you can make me laugh then you'll be my favorite person in the world for as long as our interaction lasts. I like to think I'm open, easy going, friendly, and empathetic. The thought of ever not regularly seeing new things and meeting new people is suffocating to me. Variety is the spice of life after all.
PHILOSOPHY
-The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page.
-Unpredictable moments can change your life if you're ready for them.
-This too shall pass.
-Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
-Groucho Marx
-Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry.
-Jack Kerouac

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed in many countries now and think that there is no better way to get to know a place than from one of its locals! I'm also very involved in my local Couchsurfing group and really enjoy when we get together to hangout, talk, and laugh. I love how open minded people in this community are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting on the edge of a rock overhang with a beer and staring out into the Blue Mountains in Sydney, Australia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know the basics of a few languages and my Spanish is not bad, but always a work in progress...so I could help teach that! Also, I live in the heart of Amish Country which is fascinating to most. I can give a lot of insight into their unique culture.
