我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I simply !0vE the atmosphere of being around fellow travelers. Not tourists, but travelers.

There's so much to learn about other cultures (and my own) through other people so I figured why limit it to whenever I'm out traveling when I can have some immersion right at home as well.

I've hosted quite a few amazing friends I've met during my travels so it's been suggested that I should make it "official" by hosting other good travelers in my humble apartment via CS.

兴趣

Travel - It's a given, but yes, I love to travel, and I love to travel sloooow.

Music - I listen to all the genres from all the different countries and in all different formats. I love the cracking and popping sound of vinyl cuz I think it's part of the music. I enjoy discovering music and the ease of access through music streaming services. I love the energy of live performances.

Cinema and Filmmaking - I frequent small, single-screen theatres and cinematheques for foreign and independent films. I have a small but carefully curated DVD collection. And yes, I do shoot my own little films sometimes.

Rock Climbing - I frequent indoor climbing gyms cuz of its ease of access but I'm most happy climbing outdoors. There are some pretty decent crags not too far from the apartment.

Photography - The sight of beautiful light excites me. I like cheap glass.

The Outdoors - I escape this concrete jungle I call home whenever I get a chance. I'm a mountain/desert goat but I've recently come to love the ocean as well. I love spending time in the wilderness hiking, rock climbing, battling mosquitoes, and sometimes doing absolutely nothing. I enjoy good weather but bad weather tends to excite me more.

Archery - I'm terrible at it, but hey, I enjoy it.

Books - I love the smell of old books.
