Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Entrei no Couchsurfing basicamente por achar que dinheiro não deve ser o que define se alguém viaja ou não. E isso é verdade, mas é também mais que isso. Após ter sido recebida, lindamente, desejava intensamente retribuir esses momentos e a receptividade. Agora, já tendo experiência como hóspede e como anfitriã quero, verdadeiramente, contribuir para que essa rede incrível só cresça e possa ser útil a muito mais viajantes.

First of all, money shouldn't be what defines if you can travel or not. But Couchsurfing is much more than that. My first experience was as a guest, and it was so amazing and kind that I needed to give it back to the world. Now that I've tried being both guest and host I just want to help CS to reach more and more people.

Interests

Me interessa, obviamente, poder viajar e aproveitar melhor os lugares a partir da troca com locais. Também é uma ótima forma de aprimorar e aprender novos idiomas. Conhecer pessoas diferentes, de outros lugares é maravilhoso!

Obviously, the first thing is that it makes possible to travel and have a greater experience by being assisted for the locals. Couchsurfing is a wonderful way of improving and learning new languages. Well, meeting nice, new and foreign people is amazing!

Music, Movies, and Books

Pergunta difícil... O rock clássico dos anos 60 e 70 ainda é meu tipo de música favorito, especialmente The Doors. Acompanhado da boa e velha MPB das vozes de Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso e toda a turma. De filmes, assisto a muitos, o que torna ainda mais árdua a tarefa de listar. Gosto dos clássicos, dos bons e detesto os enlatados americanos e quase toda a produção Hollywoodiana. Livros? Bom, só gostaria de conseguir terminar os infinitos livros que começo!

This is a difficult question... Well, the classic rocks (60's and 70's) are my favourite ones, particularly The Doors. Besides that I really love the brazilian popular songs by Chico Buarque, Caetano Valoso and all those wonderful artists that made some history with them. Talking about movies is almost impossible, even 'cause I watch lots of movies. I like the good ones, the classic ones and hate almost everyting Hollywood does. Books? I honestly would like to finish reading them!

Cinema, teatro, psicologia e um pouco de psicanálise, filosofias da vida, filosofias de buteco, devaneios políticos e sociais, muita zueira e piadas estúpidas e/ou sarcásticas.
