ABOUT ME

!

I'm 30 and from Ireland. I'm a little bit mad, and love everything about travelling. Job wise, I work on various projects in marketing/events. On any particular week, I could be designing a website, throwing a bingo rave or working on a music festival.

Some of my favourite travel memories include:

- Hitch-hiking across Pakistan, Iran & Iraq for a couple months.
- Visiting the frontline of the war against ISIS and making worldwide news.
- Turning a 6 week holiday in Thailand, into 6 months in South East Asia (including a stint managing a hostel in Cambodia). Update: 3 years later, I am now a co-owner of the very same hostel with a couple of friends.
- Hitch-hiking from Dublin to Berlin via London & Paris as party of a charity race.
- Studying abroad for a semester in a small railroad town in Quebec, Canada.
- Setting up a company, and spending all our money throwing the Christmas party in Vegas.
- Cruising around the moutains of Vietnam on motorbike, crossing the Hai Van pass with a gang of 20 others wearing matching terrible shirts.

Really enjoy film, reading and electronic music.

I'm known to talk endlessly on whatever subject comes up, so there's no worry of the conversation running dry.

Movies: Fight Club, Shawshank, Looper, American Beauty and all the light hearted stuff.

Books: American Psycho, On the Road, Shantaram, Cat's Cradle, Shadow of the Sun, Into The Wild, Psychopath Test and anything Chuck Palahniuk, and Stephen King. Bit of a business nerd too, love reading about famous entrepreneurs.

Music: All things electronic, every sub-genre imaginable. Also a fan of bands like ALT-J, Caribou, Artic Monkeys etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After a few too many thai whiskies, I spontaneously decided to cancel my flight from Asia home to Ireland. I ended up staying for 6 months without any idea of what the next day would involve.
