About Me

CURRENT MISSION

once a backpacker, always a backpacker

ABOUT ME

I finally left the confort of my home and went live in France where I stayed for more than a year, backpacking around Europe whenever I had the chance/money. Since then, travelling has been like food to my soul! I've this curious and restless will to always be discovering new cities, new ways of living, new horizons and landscapes, sharing stories with different people - to feed the heart and soul, inspire myself and renovate my ideas!

It's very important and has a great impact on all aspects of my life. From what I chose to do for a living - be an architect - to the way I relate with my family, friends, my hometown and my hobbies.

I'm very interested in all types of visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography), poetry, dancing, music (currently into percussion classes) and foreign languages.

You'll probably find me in good mood most of the time! I'd never say no to a good partying time, or to a good work challenge. I can also be a bit distracted and "spaced-out" sometimes, you will quickly notice! haha

PHILOSOPHY

You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.
[Dale Carnegie]

Quero a delícia de poder
sentir as coisas mais simples. [Manuel Bandeira]

Porque sou do tamanho daquilo que vejo, e não do tamanho da minha altura.
[Carlos Drummond]

To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palms of your hand and eternity in an hour.
[William Blake]

A day without laughter is a day wasted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about Couchsurfing from a friend who travelled around Europe. He had many successful experiences, so I decided to join.
I only hosted one time, but I already got a taste of couchsurfing many times. And it tastes GOOD :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was always amazed by the open-minded hospitality of people wherever I travelled and whenever I needed their help. It taught me that above nationality is the fact that deep down we are all just humans, with the same feelings and fears, but different backgrounds.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
