About Me
Hi! I’m Raj, US based traveler, nature enthusiast. I am a software engineer.
Over the past few years, I’ve travelled to India, Nepal, Tibet, Tanzania, Costa Rica, Panama to name some.
I enjoy traveling and exploring new places and local cuisines. — I love hiking, finding local attractions that are not listed in sales/marketing materials. Sports are also a big part of my life — badminton, tennis, table tennis — I’m always ready for some friendly challenge and competition.
I’d describe myself as easy going, tidy, curious, warm, good listener and kind. I like learning from people, hearing about their experiences, journeys, and sharing stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend introduced me to Couchsurfing and I really like the concept. More than stay/host, like meeting and making new friends, exchanging experiences.
I love to explore new places with the help of locals. Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way
to do that — connecting with kind, open people who love their city and are happy to share it with others.
I also enjoy hosting when I’m home. NYC is an hour away from me. Visitors can hop on
a bus or train to NYC to see the attractions and make many unforgettable experiences.

2. Touching a lioness in Tanzania
