About Me

Hello , this is a Raja pindiboy , but at least on a dosage level inculcated with culture and exposed to Western ideas. As a newcomer to Couchsurfing, I’m excited to connect people who are open minded who seeks adventure, meets people, travels, and above all, is proud of his blogging and good books, too! You will mostly find him viewing classic pieces of art that hopefully will pass the test of time.

I'd love to help, especially since it's your first trip abroad and so on, since I have loads of guidelines to share with you. Also, I really work out, jogging 7 to 8 kilometers or so a day to keep fit. I really enjoy cooking one of my favorite hobbies.

I am glad to connect other travelers and share my experiences!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Generally, for the love of traveling, and with a great desire to meet like-minded, open-minded, adventurous, and bold people who would enjoy this passion about the exploration of this beautiful world of ours, I believe that there is no better way to really feel a place than through the people of the place. I want to share stories, learn about diverse cultures, give a glimpse into my culture by hosting and being hosted.

I love helping people, especially those traveling out of the country for the first or second time. I enjoy sharing my experiences and guiding them. There is more to stay than to just build connections and create memories. Sharing my fitness routines and my love for cooking with those who are interested is also a plus.

Get information on travel if you need it or someone to share a meal with and talk, and I make your journey worthwhile.

Music, Movies, and Books

I basically have nearly everything with music, but my preference seems to be more toward the traditional tune well mixed up with the good old Western classics. I truly appreciate music which is soulful or upbeat-tuned, but it all sums up into music telling some story or conveying emotions.

Regarding movies, I believe myself to be a pretty old-school follower of the old-time TV dramas and oldies movies, especially the very old classics. They possess a charm most recent shows don't have and find highly appealing when there's a sense of nostalgia involved in it. A good movie, for me, means classic storytelling with deep characters and memorable moments.

What I love about books is that they can encompass anything under the sun-from travelogues to historical fiction to biographies. For a seeker, always looking out for something to foster new perceptions or take one on an unforgettable journey across words, this has been a great book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had to undergo some of the most unforgettable experiences that I have had till date, such as when I first visited Europe. It was exciting and overwhelming, to say the least, as one could imagine. I booked a Flexbus between cities but just missed it in the melee of everything going on. To make matters worse, my bag, containing all the essentials, was still on it!

Panic slowly started creeping when I realized that my bag with all the calmness left behind had disappeared. That night turned into frantic calls, searching, and retracing steps. A whole bad night, as they said ruined the rest of the entire trip. Next morning, after what seemed like a protracted hunt for something, I managed to find my bag. The peculiar feeling of relief and accomplishment within remains entrenched in my memory.

And it had much more to do with the experience of learning to be patient and persevering and calm under pressure. What would have otherwise been a catastrophe became a great story in which I even smile to think about to this very day. So, indeed, magic is contained in traveling: you never know what adventure or lesson is lurking around that turn.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I really enjoy is learning the new; especially with regards to technology and skills that make life easier or much enjoyable. I enjoy learning how tech can make a difference in traveling, for example, discovering various applications that help in planning trips or gadgets that guarantee keeping in contact with friends while away.

I love talking about experiences in my life, tips for navigating new places, ways that make your first trip abroad manageable, and little hacks on travels. So, if you jog like most of the people I talk to-that is, whenever you can-then I can share jogging routines with you and find fit, healthy ways of living when traveling. Just share recipes or try new dishes if cooking is your thing.

For me, learning is a two-way street. I am eager to hear your stories, tips, and anything interesting that you have picked up along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always feel like I'm giving them something positive. Deeply, I feel privileged to be able to share parts of my culture, my life experiences, and my knowledge with the hosts. Whether it's teaching someone to cook a traditional dish or sharing a bit of advice on a first-time trip outside the country, or talking about my journeys, I love connecting with people.

Of course, if you are an active person like me, I would love to share my fitness routine with you. We could go jogging together or even ideas on how to stay fit while traveling. The good news is that I love great discussions about books, movies, or even old TV dramas if that's your thing!

Plus to that, I will be one kind guest who is rather open-minded to learn all about your culture and way of life, giving back in all possible ways. From good company, help with things around the house, to simply being such a thoughtful guest that puts your mind at ease knowing that our time together will be both enjoyable and memorable.
