PHILOSOPHY

I believe that communication is the greatest factor of life, and its absence is the key to all problems, basically. I believe in getting both sides of the story. I don't want to ever travel somewhere again without knowing someone where I am going. I think superficial masks are necessary at times, but if I can get to the real you sooner than later, I'm happy. I believe in staying calm, and not getting alarmed by sudden change or spontaneity. I think I am someone who can deal with disaster fairly well - in the sense that I can think under pressure.
I think most things happen for a reason. If not everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just a surfer, because I can't host since I'm in no particular location for a solid period of time, but as soon as I am, I will most definitely be a host. And when I'm home during summers, I hope to do just that.

Interests

I am into creating, whether its in visual art form, music, rigorous argument, writing, or sitting and thinking of ridiculous thought-experiements or trippy possibilities.
I spend most of my free time playing instruments - piano, drums, ukulele...or drawing & photographing. I am very into spoken word poetry (mostly listening, however) and I enjoy looking at art that ranges from Banksy to Egon Schiele and Klimpt. I am half Indian and therefore (or not therefore, maybe its just a conincidence) but I'm incredibly interested in India and getting to know it from a non-touristic perspective. I love heights and seeing cities at night. Or anything lit up at night. I think architecture is fantastic and may be an architect myself. Maybe. I love discussing religion, though I am one of the least religious people I know. Not to be confused with spiritual, however.
