About Me

I am 29-year-old Indian ( just another one out of 1.2billion ) who has been living in New Zealand for past 7 years. I work as a Consultant within the startup space in New Zealand, working with some of the most exciting startups in Oceania !

As Albert Einstein said, " A ship is always safe at the shore, but that's not what its built for " took me only 25 years to understand that how important it is to travel not only to the places you see but the people you meet.

Being born and brought up India, I was blessed not be to born in a country but a sub-continent where every province is enriched by its culture, heritage, history and language which has made me appreciate the different colours of life.

There is never a dull moment with me.

I am always in for a bit of banter. Luxury for me is having the right company, not the right place.

I love to talk and know about people and share their knowledge that is like a WHEY protein for my body.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy engaging in conversations with people outside of my regular social circles to understand a wider range of topics and learn something new every day.

I have heard a lot about Couchsurfing, and I feel this hospitality exchange is a blessing. In the times where technology and the virtual world is taking over the real world and real time conversion, you couldn't have asked for anything better than couch surfing. I have always believed if you go to a country and only live in hotels and never interact with the locals and learn about them it is just like visiting a place and coming back, you can't call it travelling.

It's very important to know about the people not only the places.

Interests

Has to be meeting new people. You can always learn something from everyone you meet in your life.

Grew up playing sports so my weekends are spent either playing Cricket, football or Squash .

A keen hiker, who loves conquering the mountains and different terrains around the world.
