Overview
About Me
I came to the US for grad school and graduated recently. Starting a new chapter of life in Chicago. I'm an arts lover, passionate about photography, and reading and writing.
I grew up in the Himalayan mountains in India and mountains will always be my first love. I love to meet new people anywhere I go and cultural conversations are my go to; couchsurfing gives me one such opportunity and they few people I've met through this site have been amazing experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always wanted to travel as many countries as possible, but have only had the opportunity in the recent past. I've traveled to Japan (for work), and now am living the the US since August 2015 for grad school. Most recently I traveled to England and Scotland.
A friend told me about couchsurfing and even though I was reluctant in the beginning, I thought about giving it a shot. I've only hosted one person yet.
Most of my valuable learnings in life have come from people of different origins and countries and couchsurfing gives me this unique opportunity to make friends from all over the world. Looking forward to meeting someone who thinks like me or even doesn't!
Interests
I've tried to accumulate some interests over my life but as of now, the things that interest me the most are global cultures, arts, poetry, photography and cooking. I've wanted to learn multiple languages but haven't really had the time to put the hours into it.
I try to pick things from people I meet and if not for ever, I try to do those things for at least some time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are a few lame things I'm awfully proud of!
- Won $100 on a drunk darts bet!
- Spent most of my life above 6,000 feet in the Himalayas!
- Moved half way around the world pretty much on a limb for my MBA
What I Can Share with Hosts
