ABOUT ME

I am an educationist , teaching and interacting with young minds is what I do

In 2019 one of my travel goal was achieved ; of being to all 6 habitable continents:) .Now a dream is to travel to Antartica .I also wanna be a member of Traveler Century club, a club based out of LA (one needs to be to 100 countries to be part of it , been to 45 till now )
Subsequently before my 50th birthday i aspire to have traveled to 200 countries .

After graduating from IIT(engineering college) I worked for a year in corporate sector .After that I called it quits as I realized it was not something I could see myself doing for the rest of my life . Leaving the Corporate world to teach turned out to be one of the best decision of my life .(It's been 13 years of teaching now )

Other than teaching and traveling I like to play squash, watch movies (world cinema mostly), read ( history and contemporary literature are my current topics of interest) , play poker and dance (Salsa and Bachata)

I am an eternal optimist .Calling spade a spade is my philosophy . As a person I am philosophical ,sensitive, inquisitive and spiritual

PHILOSOPHY

Keep learning ,keep giving,always have an open mind to everything.. .fall in love. kill ego ..be humble ..respect others . ..be passionate ..Be proud of who you are .....be honest to yourself ...dont analyse things too intricately .try to indulge in different experiences, keeping doing things which forces you to get out of your comfort zone,seek every hedonistic pleasure .

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to attend cs meets in my city ...and be in regular touch with the local csers ...I make it a point to meet csers in whatever part of the world I happen to be in if I not am surfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is one of the best thing that has happened to me .. I have met some absolutely amazing people ...It has had a transformational affect in my life. It made me realize how different people are but yet so similar in many ways .It has enriched my travels .

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Math for sure :).....I can teach violin and squash... I can also teach basics of salsa and Bachata
I can also teach basic concepts of film making ..
I can share my knowledge about sports , movies , world history (especially Indian) and countries I have traveled to
I am willing to learn anything except for cooking:) which I really suck at..Someone needs to be really good to be get me going in cooking
( I was learning Spanish some time back ,would be nice if someone can help me in brushing it up)
