About Me
Edit: Had my first CS experience in October 2015, and I must say, it was amazing. Getting to know a stranger and talking about interesting things is way better than living alone in a hotel/hostel. I guess I'll try this every time I travel from now on. But the number of rejects were kind of demotivating because I wrote long personalised messages to people and yet got way too many rejects and I'd almost given up.
I completed my masters degree in Germany and now I'm working here at an Automotive company. Like everyone on CS, I absolutely love traveling and my serious hobby is photography. As both these hobbies go hand in hand, traveling is a lot more fun for me.
As a person, I'm very calm and easy going. A little lazy too at times, but not when it comes to traveling or fun activities or partying. I love talking about photography or cycling especially but most other things are interesting too.
I guess that's all that I have to say as of now, I'll fill in more stuff here as I gain more experience, which I am sure, I will.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To find like minded people and make friends all over the world .
I am also a member of a penpal website where I have made great friends all over the world.
And I traveled with a friend I made there and ended up meeting one more in Prague. So I like the idea of meeting new people.
I also host on WarmShowers. So if you want you can send me a request there too.
When traveling, it's always the best to stay or at least interact with locals as they are the best people to get the info on the REAL attractions and some nice neighbourhood gossip ;)
Interests
Cars, Photography, Technology, Meeting new people, Traveling, Music, Cycling.
I'm an amateur drummer, started at the age of 25 (it's never too late to start something new, isn't it). Music is something I cannot live without and being involved with music is something I'd always wanted to do.
I absolutely love Roadbiking. In August 2019 I did the via Claudia Augusta, the ancient Roman route, on my bicycle from Munich to Verona. A total of 510km in 6 days, solo, over the Alps.
I have built radio controlled aircrafts and know a few things about them.
I do a lot of photography, you can ask me to see my page on Facebook ;). I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions.
Whatever there is to learn, I feel like learning. When in a library, I am utterly confused because I want to read everything.
I love talking to people and listening to the most amazing stories (sometimes boring too haha).

Music, Movies, and Books
Shawshank Redemption, Kill Bill, Forrest Gump, Terminator, Home Alone, Indiana Jones, Bond movies, Harry Potter(The books. The movies were a disappointment), Lord of the rings(The movie series. Haven't read the book yet). There are far too many to write :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fireflies in a dark night. It's something words cannot describe. There were so many of them and there was absolutely no other light source for miles.
I've been on a 4 day trip with a person I had never met in real life.
As I said before, a Trans-Alp alone from Munich to Verona on my cycle.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the basics of Photography and drumming and also share my travel experience. Also, if you're interested in knowing about my home country, India, I can tell you a lot about it (not everything ofcourse, its a HUGE country).
Although I'm no expert, I can definitely help you take better photos if you want to.
Anything to do with cars and most gadgets.
I'd love to learn amazing life hacks that some people know.
