ABOUT ME

I work as a children's librarian in downtown Asheville.
When I'm not working I go out dancing and drink whiskey.
Sometimes I go thrifting, sometimes a play D&D.
Sometimes I go to karaoke. I do that one a lot, as I live right behind the best karaoke bar in town.
I like the rain but I hate the humidity.
I have a large black cat named Stella.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an astonishing wealth of knowledge of what's going on around Asheville. If you're new to town, message me with any questions you have. I can't always host, but I'll drop knowledge on you all day long. And probably show you around in person.

I've horrified some French people with my attempt at cooking and confused some Brits with what we Americans call "dirty, dirty Southern rap music."

Swam in a Mexican cenote.

Chased a big monkey through the fog in the Himalayas.

Got insulted by Mickey Roarke. Then he took a swing at me. He was pretty drunk.

I can teach you to play the ukulele. Unless you're better than at ukulele than me. In which case you can teach me to play the ukulele. I can teach you to waltz and to make fried peanut butter sandwiches.
