Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the opportunity to meet new minds.
With the world so big, it'll be a shame if i don't get to listen to so many stories and meet people from around the globe.
i think that is an experience in itself.

Interests

I love to wander around in whichever city or place i am at. I think one can best feel the vibes and character of a place by exploring it on foot.

I'm fond of physical activities, mostly bouldering, running, skating, badminton… but as i said, master of none..

I thoroughly enjoy dancing and singing, even though I'm not very good at either.

I dont read many books, but i do enjoy reading when I find time because thats the surest way of knowing more things. I like knowing.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's no one favorite artist or band. I tend to have favorite songs which may be composed by whichever band or artist. Thus, the range is wide.
The Beatles, Sigur Ros, Bonobo, Dave Mathews Band, Steven Wilson, Amiina, Air, Parov Stellar, Hans Zimmer, Max Richter, Beethoven, Chopin, John Zorn, Billy Joel, Dylan, Linkin Park, Lana Del Ray, Snow Patrol, Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, Aurora, Indian traditional music, Bollywood songs, 1940s-70s Jazz, 70s rock, etc, etc.

There are many movies that i absolutely enjoyed, some of them being - the Man From Earth, Midnight in Paris, 12 Angry Men, BoyHood, Hunt for the Wilder People, Machinist, Fight Club, The Big Lebowski, Away We Go, Interstellar, Almost Famous, etc. The list is rather endless.

My favorite book is one called 'Rain in the Mountains' by Ruskin Bond, for how much at peace i feel while and after reading it. But i mostly read non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nurtured a dying street dog back to health. That is the most amazing. But life has been kind to me by giving me a lot of other amazing opportunities which I could utilise.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you loads and loads about my country and its myriad cultures. I'll try and answer every question you may have.
I know things, but I can't think of any proper skills which I could teach. I see myself more as a jack of all trades, master of none.

I'd love to learn about your city, your language and the lifestyles and culture of the people of your country.
Honestly, i am very appreciative of all forms of talents and skills out there in the world. So I'm excited to learn whatever it is that you would like to share with me.
:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a cleanliness freak, i can promise to leave your place as clean as i got it. Maybe even cleaner, if you may allow me to clean :p
Since i'm not too rigid and picky, i'm easy to live with. But anal about cleanliness and organisation.
