ABOUT ME

I am outgoing, fun, and definitely crazy. I love to bring a new light to any situation, problem, common way of thinking, etc. I am not afraid to dance in the middle of the street, or to make a scene (in a fun way) if I feel compelled. I am well-read, intelligent, and creative. I try as often as possible to embrace serendipity and pursue adventures of all kinds as they present themselves.

PHILOSOPHY

I seek to fill my life with people who respect me and whom I can respect. Integrity and honesty are paramount to me. I am willing to tell you anything I can about myself, even when it's hard to say. I ask that you be willing to do the same, if you are brave enough to ask the hard questions. You may not like my answers, but you will have more truth in the telling then in the answers themselves. The truth doesn't scare me. I don't back down.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been an active host of CSers and helped out with Charleston's first CouchCrash while I was living there. I organize events both officially and unoffically related to CS all over town. I am an active CS evangelist and have introduced many people to CS.

Interests

I love to cook, and would love to cook for you! I also love tea. And dancing. Theatre, street theatre, artistic adventures of all kinds, bookstores, storytelling, and places where people that don't know each other talk about the stuff of which we're made are all awesome. I love yoga, circus arts, and many forms of dance. Take me some place I've never been, and I will find a way to love it, even if it ends up being an MST3K -style sarcastic running commentary on the denizens of the realm. I'm pretty easy to entertain, really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man is the most amazing place in the world. The confluence of people in such a harsh, surreal environment coupled with the underlying tenets is just breathtaking.

On a more intimate scale, I allow myself to frequently be awestruck by moments of conversation, or dance, or sunsets, sunrises, the stars.....
