Overview
About Me
I love meeting new people, making a lot of friends, and sharing cultures and experiences with them.
I Love writing and photography. I'm also a big fan of hiking, camping in nature, and cycling, and I would be super excited to join such activities in the fantastic green nature of Pushkar.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Being in Couchsurfing is an opportunity to continue living new experiences through the eyes of other travellers with their own different way of seeing life.
Think about it: you meet amazing people, travellers with similar attitudes about life, people that you normally don't meet in bars or at work.
And they come directly to your home, or you go to their home, you don't meet them for 5 minutes in a random place, so you have enough time to learn, to share experiences, to discover where you want to travel next.
Imagine how great it is to surf these amazing people's couches and be on holidays at the same time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Even though now I can afford to book a hotel, I prefer CS because this way I can truly experience the city. I am not only interested in sightseeing, but also in learning how locals leave. As a result, I have become friends with many CSers.
However, the statement "CS is not a free hotel" is relevant not only for surfers but also for hosts.
Unfortunately, there were a few times when I left on my own wish because I did not feel welcome. I need no favors. You do not have to sacrifice anything for me. A host should not be a babysitter or an animator but hosting means to like having guests in the house. If you are busy or just not in the mood of hosting, it is better not to accept requests.
