About Me

Hi, I'm an Indian person studying Transportation at MIT in Boston (USA). Before Boston, I've lived in Chennai (India), Karlsruhe (Germany), and Utsunomiya (Japan). I love hiking, running, camping, and anything outdoors! When I'm indoors, I'm either cooking or listening to music or reading history/geography on Wikipedia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm riding a motorcycle solo from Medellin to Patagonia in February/March 2019.
I'm a vegetarian, so if you can help me find some vegetarian food, that would be great :)
I'm learning Spanish, so it would be nice to meet local people in South America with whom I can speak in Spanish.

Interests

Traveling is my biggest hobby in the last 3 years. I've traveled to over 25 countries in those 3 years. I love motorcycle travel because it is liberating, and it is cheap and fun.
I'm also a very active person. I love running, hiking, cycling, and other sports. I have run 3 full marathons till date, and I have hiked a lot in the US from Mt. Whitney (highest mountain in continental US - 14,500 ft), to Grand Canyon, to the Presidential Range in New England.
I'm looking to hike a bit in the Andes! South America is fantastic for hiking.

Teach, Learn, Share

Culture, food, mathematics, science, travel, language.
Having lived in 4 countries and traveled through 30 others, I have lots of wonderful experiences about wonderful people to share with others. In general, many people think the World is not very safe; however, I strongly believe that the World is a safe place as long as you use common sense.

What I Can Share with Hosts
