About Me
ABOUT ME
I like to think that I have a liberal view on life and people and hopeful about the experiences that it can bring.
There are certain things that I am good at, and there are certain weakness that I am trying to better.
It is always different experience with different people, there are lessons to be learnt from such interactions is what I believe.
I may not be able to host for the next 8 months as I will be moving and settling into anew place, but after that I would certainly be more active wrt to hosting and surfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am seeking hosts to put up with me for few days in Vancouver.
Interests
Movies, Long distance running, Swimming, Cycling
Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to music, my wife is a good singer she has done a few levels in Carnatic music, for now she is my patient guru trying to help me with grasping the sense for singing, there is very little progress I have made but it counts.
Listen to all sorts of music, classical, filmy, devotional, anti-devotional, rock, international, folk, etc. I have my own stash on my phone which is far from being curated, I am not a serious aficionado who can dish out names of the song writers, artist, composers, genre, period, trivia, etc. but if you ask me most of the time I am high on music blaring on the speaker either in the car or on portables or on my headset.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done a few things which were amazing but they are not an yardstick to measure my capabilities of doing amazing things.
I have bicycled for 10 days and 1000 kms along the coast of India which is memorable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn French, that is on my priority list. I've been learning to sing, weather I have learnt or not is open to opinions, it is a free country.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help out with the daily chores.
I can cook some South Indian food.
I can try to be interesting.
