Overview
About Me
I am a simple person. I like travelling, basically a backpacker / budget traveler. I love interacting with local people, learn about languages, culture and heritage.
I love mountains, greenery.
I feel spiritual but not orthodox religious. I respect all the religion and open to discussions.
Not interested in Politics.
I am unable to host as I live in a single room, with my mom.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There cannot be any better way to learn about a region and its society in a correct way, than Couchsurfing.
Many CSers might think it is an alternative way for accommodation; even some hosts like not to encourage "free loaders". But, CS is not about free-loading! It is about sharing experiences, to see the places as a local which might not be possible if a traveller stays in a hostel (btw, hostel doesn't cost much these days, at least for a dorm).

Music, Movies, and Books
I have no particular preferences. I listen to all types of music, watch a wide variety of movies and I prefer books that help me to grow as a human and widens my knowledge.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Although it is not a big thing, I really enjoyed rafting in Zanskar in Ladakh (in July, 2016). It was an amazing, adrealine-rushing experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach : I have no capacity to teach anyone (in real sense) though I'm a teacher by profession. I believe we can only learn through our experiences !
Learn : everything that are beyond the covers of the books.
Share : my experiences, my cultural heritage and Indian cuisine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As I live in a single room with my mom, I am unable to offer to host you. But, I can share my experiences, my culture with my host. I love to interact while travelling. However, I have found various misconceptions about the culture and society of my nation (India). It will be great if I can share the true facts and figures and help to put forward the real ideas on India (obviously, apart from the conceived notion of it being a poor nation with cows roaming the streets, snake charmers everywhere !). Once you travel to India, you shall fall in love with it.
