About Me

CURRENT MISSION:
Make some friends in Karlsruhe, and also start hosting people on CS (now that I have a big apartment :P). And meanwhile, also travel across Europe :)

ABOUT ME:
After spending 23 years of my life in India, and a semester (exchange) in the USA, I moved to Hamburg, Germany in 2013 to pursue my higher education. Hamburg, being such a beautiful hanseatic city, and the second largest in Germany, turned out to be an amazing city to live in. Hamburg taught me a lot. I made lot of local and international friends, experienced different cultures, experienced the friendliness of Germans, and much more. As of June 2017, I moved to Karlsruhe, for my new job. I like Sun, so after living 3.5 years in Hamburg which most of the time has a cloudy (depressing) weather, I am very happy to have moved to Karlsruhe, one of the sunniest cities in Germany with a dedicated full time Summer :).

I'm a very easy going guy, and always open to experiencing new things. I like meeting new people, and hear their stories(the good and the embarassing ones :P). I love making and executing spontaneous plans. I listen to music almost all the times, except when working. I'm currently trying to learn to play a guitar. Technology fascinates me, so I would consider myself a bit of tech geek and gadget freak 🤓. I'm an Automation (Mechatronics) engineer by profession with a great deal of interest in Science.

I watch lot of movies, and often forget their names within a week. My other interests are biking around the city, chilling at the lakes/gardens. I'm very fond of all types of animals and had have owned cats, dogs, turtles, tortoises, fishes, parrots, mices, rabbits as pets. As a child, my favorite TV channel was Animal Planet.

HOSTING:
I can offer a couch to any travelers to Karlsruhe. The couch turns into a double bed, hence I can easily host up to 2 people in my apartment.
