ABOUT ME

I am a freelance textile & graphic designer (hoping to someday go back to a studio art practice). I have lived and studied all over the country (north, south, east and west) and have working familiarity with many Indian cultures. Home is where I'm paying rent currently and right now that is Pune. I think the most endearing quality about me is that I have a compelling interest in 'most everything. If I were told to pick one activity to do for the rest of my life, I would hitch-hike my way around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My memory always lets me down on questions like this, but the most recent amazing thing that happened to me was to score the last two tickets to see my first FC Barcelona (and La liga) match.

Teach, Learn, Share

Here are some subjects in which I have moderate expertise and would willingly share what I know: art, crafts and textiles (particularly Indian), Indian culture 101, Hindi and Bengali languages, Bengali culture 101.

I am a knowledge/skill addict and would appreciate learning anything new (and old). I would particularly love the opportunity to further my rudimentary French skills (or learn a new language) and any discussion on art and crafts (particularly textiles).
