Overview
About Me
I'm an Art School Graduate (Fine Arts: Painting) with a day job that's not in the art world. (Of course). I also have pink hair at the moment.
Now, I'm working as a Boardgame Explainer in Bucharest and I doodle and paint in a studio that I share with a massive community of makers. I'm technically a freelance artist as well.
I'm open minded and I genuinely like people and stories and also drawing those people so if we meet you might get a doodle as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I knew of the community though a close friend and was a very active host in 2012. Now due to unfortunate circumstances I can no longer be a host, but, I can finally experience CS from the surfer's perspective.
Interests
Art and Board Games are big things in my life as they are related to the fields that I work in. I also enjoy TV and Film a lot (more than I should really).
I have a dog who has cat software installed and she's the cutest, and I will not shut up about her so aproach that subject at your own risk. :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I watch a lot of TV shows some are great, other not so.. All time favorites are Gilmore Girls, Firefly, The Newsroom, Grace and Frankie, Don't Trust the B from apt 23, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and many others..
Music-wise: I have developed an obsession with Hamilton the musical and that's all that I've been listening to the last 6? months.
Books wise: it's kind of dissppointing, my bookself has a lot of manga and art history books and almost nothing else, except for Harry Potter, there is room for that series on my self, but I get my .. learning new stuff quota from podcasts Like Stuff you Should know, Stuff you Missed in History, Stuff mom Never Toldyou, Sawbones, Lore and This American Life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've developed the ability to be able to sleep anywhere so I've slept in the studio at Uni, or on a lunch table before going on a hike.
Teach, Learn, Share
Be a nerd, get exited about things and stay hungry!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My cooking. I've learned how to cook for myself because of a lack of restaurant funds, so I'm actually a decent cook and will do it on a budget.
I take my watercolor notebook with me every where : doing a project called the Travel journal of a couch potato for several years now so I can basically show people a picture diary of my life.
I also take my drawing tablet with me whist traveling so you'll probably get a digita portrait as well.
