I'm a single dad to a great energetic 12 year old son who usually travels with family and friends. I know the difficulty of planning for any trip / vacation. This time around, I will be on my own. I am doing a 180 on this trip and going out of my comfort zone to discover places in a different way and hopefully meet new friends along the way.

I would say I'm introvert at first, but just like a diesel engine, once I get warmed up, I can be as open, fun, and energetic as a mid 20s yuppy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a host in a different platform, but Couchsurfing is totally different in which you open up your home and soul to "future friends". That possible connection to a stranger can last a lifetime.

Although I am afraid of heights, I've actually flown an airplane, did a couple of zip lines, and ride super high roller coasters.
