About Me

I recently graduated with a degree in Software Engineering and I'm getting ready to pursue my Masters Degree in AI. I work on tons of music and video projects and I try to travel as often as I can. I love being creative and collaborating with other creative and passionate people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be traveling across Japan in April and would love to meet locals and other travelers to go exploring with.

Interests

Most of my free time is spent working on music and music related projects. I play a few instruments, sing, write, record, and produce. Outside of that I love hanging out at coffee shops and meeting new people. I've also recently gotten into mixology.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is a little all over the place but a few faves Ive been listening to lately are: Black Marble, Mk.gee, Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Orchid Mantis, Blood Orange, Earl Sweatshirt, Channel Tres, and Night Tapes.

Some of favorite movies are: Midnight in Paris, The Tree of Life, Hot Rod, Interstellar, Jojo Rabbit, The Big Short, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Pianist, and Tenet.

Books: The Sun Also Rises, East of Eden, 21 Lessons For The 21st Century, The Stranger, and The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed a team of engineers writing the flight software code for a NASA sponsored satellite. It was a great learning experience and helped me realize what I enjoy most out of my field of work.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about communities and learning about people's lives and what inspires them. I love learning about different cultures and love experiencing new things. Most importantly I just love to learn!

As fas as teaching goes, I'm mostly skilled in music, music/video production, and anything tech related. I repaired electronics and taught people about computers and software for many years before I switched to software engineering.
