The world is my only home now (as of October 2015). Sold my house, my car, and all my belongings to travel/explore the world and its peoples.

I'm fascinated by how different cultures have come up with their own formula for "how to live your life". Traveling is a never-ending downpour of information and understanding.

I hope to encounter as many cultures as possible. So very different from me and each other, and so very similar too.

There is far too much in the world for anyone to know it all, or to experience it all. It is not necessary to do so anyways, and even if you could, what would there be left to live for?

Be open, absorb like a sponge, resist the temptation to judge.
Be friendly, try to understand others, be patient.

I've been to many popular destinations, and have done the touristy things. But as you know, you just end up meeting other tourists and don't get a sense of the local people and their way of life.

I'm on Couchsurfing because it's completely different from that!
