ABOUT ME

I would like to think my friends would say I'm a very easy going guy, fun and friendly and keen to meet new people and generally have a good time!
I have an awesome sense of adventure and like to explore the world.

Live, love life - you never know how long you have left!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't actually participated yet... but I certainly intend to!
Any cool guy/girl is welcome to my couch!
Will happily show you around and get to know each other over a beer or a hot chocolate!
I am also traveling to Spain through France in Aug so if anyone has a couch on the way - that would be great!

Interests

Hmm, well I'm a scuba diver and have volunteered in Cuba surveying coral reefs with the University of Havana. I'm a snowboarder and have been to a fair few resorts throughout Europe and Western Canada...
I'm a very keen motorcyclist, I love my bike, she's my baby! A couple of years ago I travelled through Europe to Germany, through France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Holland and this year I will be traveling to see a friend in Spain

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moment #1) When I was volunteering in Cuba, I had the task of measuring baby turtles and realsing them into the wild at night time... There was a full moon and a clear sky, there was a thunderstorm on the horizon and it was dead still.. I can't even describe what an awesome experience it was.
#2) Ice skating on a frozen lake in Canada at night, playing ice hockey with friends before retreating to an open fire
#3) Volunteering in Kenya - I asked one of the little girls what she would like for Christmas - the answer? - no a playstation, Xbox, new TV, phone or anything like that.. her answer was "sweets, cake and soda".. It was heartwarming to work with these kids who have nothing and give them simple things like candy and cola...
