Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new, though I've been hanging out with CSers for awhile now. I officially joined during Detroit Couch Crash 3, which was a blast. I love Detroit and keep going back! I might just stay next time.

Interests

Anything outdoors. I get pretty stoked about tree houses. I really thrive on adventures and making things. In both I enjoy the process most -- construction sites have always fascinated me more than finished buildings, and some of my best travel memories are of long journeys on trains and ferries even though I may have long since forgotten where I was going at the time.

Esoteric knowledge? I can teach you how to build a cardboard boat. And how to speak a bit of Turkish. Thus, you'll be well prepared should you ever be homeless in Istanbul and need to cross the Sea of Marmara.
