About Me

I'm a simple father, husband, psychologist and writer. I live with my wife Igui, y daughter Vicki and my dog (named Pipo). I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and I really like my job, because I get to help people on a daily basis. Being a psychologist is hard and heartwarming at the same time.
I love traveling, and I try to do it whenever I get the chance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about Couchsurfing through a book I read, called "Días de viaje". It seems to be a great opportunity to get in touch with a lot of people who live elsewhere and in a different way.
It feels like a great way of knowing different people from different cultures, which is my ultimate goal. I love the way I live, but I feel like there's something else I'm missing.

Interests

My interests include music (all kinds of music, specially country, pop and rock), reading (specially novels and theoretical books related to Psychology and education in general), movies, TV series, family and friends, traveling, and of course looong long talks about life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love country music (Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, to name a few), and also like pop and rock. But I enjoy all kinds of music.
I really like horror movies and TV series (The Walking Dead, Hannibal), but I also like fantasy and drama (Game Of Thrones, Grey's Anatomy, Orphan Black). Forrest Gump is my absolute favorite movie of all time.
I read a lot, specially theoretical books related to Psychology. But I also really like reading novels about fantasy, love and drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I published a book on my own, and it was a great experiencie.

Teach, Learn, Share

To me, talking with people is the best way to know things. You can read about places, you can watch TV shows about other countries, you can listen to music from all over the world. But when you get to know the person behind that things, it gives you the opportunity to learn how they truly live, the things they do like you do them, the things they do differently. And that's the only way you can really see how diverse and incredible life is.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a great listener, and a tireless talker. I love my country, my province, my city, so I'm whilling to let the world know the best and the worst from here. And I also have the interest of knowing the best and worst of the other places I want to visit. But above all things, I can share a life experience, and be the person you can share yours with.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Brazil, Dominican Republic, United States
