About Me

A Yank(ee) from California. Both my parents are from Bolivia … which I’m pretty sure is the reason I got the travel bug so early on - and I am eternally grateful for that :)

In my 20s, I had the opportunity to finish school, live abroad, visit quite a few countries, and grow fonder of my own motherland and culture. The lessons and experiences were incredibly eye-opening and priceless. And as a bonus, all the food I got to try…oh my… **chef’s kiss**

In these next few years, I’d like to check off some specific dreams: see a Muay Thai event in Thailand, catch an Arsenal match with a good mate of mine in London (which may happen this October *fingers crossed*), and finally experience the carnavales in Bolivia/Brazil.

To my future hosts, guests, and friends:
-I like to think I’m approachable, responsive, and dependable. Respect for each other’s time/availability is very important to me.
-This site/app has been very good to me over the years. Specifically, my trips to Hong Kong and Colombia were extra memorable because of fun and spontaneous member-run events and gracious hosts. I’ll always be keen to give back in some way

This last year has been very hard. I hope you and yours are as safe as can be at this time. As we come out of restrictions, may you all have safe travels.

-RC
