About Me
What about me?...
I'm 26 years old. I'm doing my PhD in quantum nanoelectronics (yes, I'm a physicist) and what else? Heemm... I come from Argentina, there my family lives in the north (where the weather is really warm) but the last 4 years I spent my life living in the south (where the weather is really cold)... at the end I loved Buenos Aires (the capital of Argentina), which in fact is in the middle =D. Easy!
What more?
Half of my friends calls me "Ramiro", which is my name...and the other half calls me "Hernan", my second name... I just decided that I wanted to use both of them...so, you can chosse.
I will not say that my English is fluent, but it works... Anyway, of course I speak Spanish (with a mixed acent of the whole Argentina =P ) and also, since I arrived in France, I started to speak French (Now after six months it's working better)...Learning new languages is not my stronges skill but I like to try I guess because it's intereiting how it changes the usual "rules" of the everyday life. I make simple things interesting...even when I don't succed to say what I want to say.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I would like to meet people, take the opportunity I'm in France to make new friends, I want to see how people who come from differents parts of the world see how the world works, train my french or english and of course, keep in practice my spanish =D... Since I'm quite new here, it's a super idea to host someone and share a trip trough Paris or it's also better just travel to another city and be hosted.
Also I would be happy to share what I have from Argentina: music, food, stories, language....basically the way we are.
It would be great to meet people from Paris to go time to time to take a beer, walk around, eat something somewhere with someone else or just rest a couple of hours talking and listening music.
Interests
I always wanted to travel in the world, since I was a child. Of course in that moment "the world" for me was just a couple of kilometers away from home..but the feeling was the right one...Pushed by that feeling I guess, i just found the way to go out home, more than a couple of kilometers...and I'm here now, more or less in the other side of the world, by my own. That is my interest "Explore" and for the same reason I became a scientist ....maybe.
So I like to explore the world and it's thousands times better when it's possible to share that experience.
Another things that can keep my attention: the biology, the universe, the physics, a good beer, spicy food (I think it's really funny to eat it because everyone becomes red and warm while talking about whatever)
