After university I moved to Germany, where I stayed 3 years living & working. Now I decided to quit my job and go after the next adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living abroad gives you many opportunities to realize this: meeting people with different life experiences than yours is FUN.

Sharing your own city and favorite activities with a foreigner makes you rediscover them...again and again.

On the other hand, I want to get to know local friends and stories when traveling around.

Interests

Right now I'm getting into sailing. Means studying and getting experience. I'm drawn by the sea and its stories, and see sailing as an exciting way to travel.

Otherwise water sports, mountain hiking, yoga, meditation, books, food and friends are great ways to spend the time on earth.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: all related to blues, jazz standards, swing, bluegrass makes me happy.
Spanish flamenco specially rumba to play and sing along. Techno and latin music for party.

Movies: all kinds! Though still today I cannot describe what a great movie means. A captivating soundtrack is a good start :)

Two documentaries I liked lately: Deep Water and 127 hours.

Books: so far this year Patrick Rothfuss, Noah Gordon, Edgar Allan Poe, Tim Ferriss, Eckhardt Tolle, Douglas Adams, Gabriel García Márquez and Morriss West.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cannot say I did it already, but since I'm excited about it I'll share it here! I quit my job in September, and I'm getting ready for crossing the Atlantic ocean on board of a 20m sailing yacht. Cannot wait!
