Hey there, my name is Ramón (31) and I'm from Barcelona. I live currently in Berlin since 2018. Travelling is one of my hobbies, and that's exactly what brings me to Coachsurfing. I like meeting people who shares this interest and I find this platform a good chance for exchange with other travellers. Some months ago I visited for very first time Asia, and now is moment to come back. I plan to spend some days in Hong Kong and after that Japan is my next destination. My last stop will be South Korea, since I really like this country, its culture and its food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find interesting having the possibility to know other cities, countries, cultures from the point of view of the locals. Besides I find this platform a great chance of exchange between travellers and cultures.

Interests

I like hanging out with my friends and doing several kind of plans. Getting a simple beer or cup of wine in good company is great, but I'm also into theater, restaurants or visiting any kind of museum.
When I have time I spend time cooking. I'm very into asian cuisine - specially corean - and vegetarian.

Music, Movies, and Books

One book which changed years ago my point of view in many ways was 'Man's searching for meaning' of Viktor Frankl.

When I have time I like watching some series. Black Mirror or The Handmaid's tale are two series which I really liked.

I can't define my music taste as I like many styles - my spotify account is a mix of genres and styles. You may find authors such as Ariel Pink, Julio Iglesias, Rammstein,The war on Drugs, Mac de Marco, Abba, Beach House, Pet shop boys, Temples, Blood orange, John Farnhan, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going through a migration process. It's a very enriching adventure to learn the customs and language of another country, to adjust to a new environment and to learn to unlearn.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are learning spanish, catalan or german, I could give you a helping hand with them. Otherwise I can offer good company, good energy, nice chats or even nice time cooking any nice dish if we do it toguether. Tortilla or kimchi fried rice are among my specialities.
