About Me

I am a Political Science BA graduate, currently settled in Bucharest and working in a corporation - this is my materialistic, day to day life, which puts a roof over my head, food on my table and allows me to provide the best life for my cat :)
To keep my spirit alive and blooming - I like to travel, to meet new people and to make friends everywhere I go.

I believe the best food for your soul is human connections and sincere friendship and I think I have been lucky enough to cultivate this quite a lot throughout my life so far. And I am hoping to do a lot more of that via Couchsurfing as well.

If I were to describe the best times of my life so far, I would say that's been my Erasmus semester in Wroclaw, Poland (2011) and my 2-week 'Eurotrip' in 5 countries (in 2015). Erasmus taught me how liberating and exhilarating it can be to pack up, leave your comfort zone and live by yourself in a foreign country, even if just for 5 months, and it was also the experience that has made me realize how awesome people can be and how much I love making friends. To this day we keep contact, visit each other and value each other greatly - and that's a pretty cool thing in my book. My 2-week trip in Europe was very important to me because after a few years of serious 'adulting' and figuring things out in kind of a routine-lifestyle, it reminded me that life doesn't have to be all work and no play necessarily. That traveling and meeting people is my passion and I can still do it - even if I cannot do it as often or for as long as I would like to, I can do it my way and enjoy it to the fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I may not be able to host fellow Couchsurfers (although I can surely try, if the situation allows me and I have a free room in my flat) but I am definitely in for meeting up, showing you around the city or keeping you company for a drink.
If there is anything I can help with (advice/ tips on how to go about the city) or you just feel like socializing with a local, feel encouraged to contact me. I am here to meet people, have a good time and keep my traveling spirit alive!
