We are a couple from Weil der Stadt, which is near Stuttgart, in Germany. In October 2021 we moved to Hamburg - and what should we say?! We love it!

Our Couchsurfing-Story:
We finished university (Jens), quit our jobs (Ramona & Jens), sold our belongings and packed our backpacks. Finally, in April 2019, we started on a trip around the world. We hitchhiked all the way from Germany to Manipur in Northeast India. We couchsurfed and camped a lot and enjoyed it all the time! Couchsurfing brought us so close to the people and the cultures of a country, that we don‘t want to miss it.
However the Corona crisis stopped us from hitchhiking further east and we came back to Germany, packed our bicycles and checked out our home country while riding our bikes 4000 kilometers around Germany. Also on this trip couchsurfing was always part of the experience.

And now, we settled down in Hamburg and are looking forward for Couchsurfing guests after we stayed at so many places.
We really look forward to meet you, have some nice talks with you, show you some nice places, explore the surrounding with you and cook together. Actually we are nature lovers, but we also love to discover Hamburg.

We enjoy meeting local people and learn about their culture and country, make friends and find hidden places with their help.
Back home, we would like to help travelers to have a good time in Hamburg and the surrounding of Hamburg.

兴趣

We like traveling and experience new cultures, cooking, concerts & music, being outside in the nature, being active and making new experience. We are trying to live a sustainable lifestyle and are interested in topics like Permaculture, zero waste, downsized living, upcycling, handicraft (Ramona) and so on...

We love German music, but are always trying to discover music we don‘t know yet!
We are addicted to a German Sunday evening crime series called „Tatort“.

All the hospitality and the love we experienced on our trip.

E.g. we have not only once been picked up from the street and invited to stay one night at someones home who did not know us before. There are so many great people in the world!

We can teach and share with you German, some German cooking skills and good music :-) But we are sure there will be even more!
