Its always nicer to experience a new place with the help of people living in that place. Even if its just a tip where the best restaurant is or how to get around, it makes the stay so much more memorable.

I have many memories that to me are amazing, countries I've seen, jobs I've had, people I've met. I guess what is amazing is always in the eye of the beholder. I went swimming with whale sharks and snorkeling with sea turtles in the Philippines, which was very impressive to me. I've volunteered with a number of organizations, from trying to preserve a buddhist temple in Indonesia to construction of an orphanage in the Philippines.
