Overview
About Me
It's difficult to describe myself since everyone has a different perception of me and since we all are always in constant change. As people around me, I discover myself every day. Until now I can say that I like to travel, to know and understand different cultures and life styles. I'm a curious and talkative person who loves to share different ideas and points of view. I've been an exchange student in Turkey for a year, hosted by a Turkish family, and from that time I couldn't stop travelling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd love to meet different people, from different backgrounds, with different ideas, histories, places. I want to learn, share, teach, talk, cook, drink, walk or whatever can make me discover something new. While travelling, staying with local people and observe, taste, live, is absolutely the best way to feel - deeply - a country.
Interests
Generally speaking I'm attracted by anything new, but I also like to acquire an in-depth knowledge of what I "already know". If for "interests" we mean the things I like to do, well, I'd say that i write, draw/ paint. I'm interested in history, art, philosophy as well as in languages and cultures; I like to know and understand the different politics of each country and the political ideas of their habitants. I'm discovering the world of the Indian philosophy and so, I also practice some Yoga.
One of the best way to travel without moving is reading. It's always a ticket towards somewhere.
I also like to take pictures.

Music, Movies, and Books
About music, I use to listen to different kind of music: from rock to folk to reggae.
About books, I'm interested in historical and political books (especially about Middle - East questions) as much as romance. Writers which impressed me are many: from Kerouac to Murakami to Steinbeck , Dostoevskij, Bukowski, T. Terzani, Borges, Orhan Pamuk, Elif Şafak, Goethe, Hosseini, Baudelaire, Orwell, Rimbaud, Nazım Hikmet, Joyce and so on.
Some of my favourite movies are: The Dreamers, Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Into the Wild, La belle Verte, Wadjda, Trainspotting , We children from Bahnhof Zoo, Everyday rebellion, movies by Chaplin and the Nouvelle vague.
