Hey! I am Ramon, it's difficult to write in few lines how I am, but let's sum it up a bit!

I am a 20 year grown up kid very passionate about too many things... I am currently studying 3D stuff for visual effects and games or other sort of interactive applications.

I am extremely interested in computer generated imagery: visual effects, web development, visualization, programming, maths... At the same time I love music production and music in general. I like to express myself through audio and video, preferably in real time.

I also love filmmaking, when I was 17 I shot a shortfilm (http://www.ramonblanquer.com/works/self-seeker/) with my best friends and got few official selections and an award, I still can't believe it, if you want to watch it hit me up I send you the password.

About my hobbies I love going to concerts and live music performances, photography, filmmaking, I play the guitar, I code stuff, web development, hiking, travelling (well like everybody in CS I guess hahaha), and also I love getting lost in cool places with people speaking foreign languages that I can't understand, or solo hiking, I enjoyed a lot on my 18s camping alone in the Norwegian woods in December, a bit chilly but oh well, also visiting Iceland changed my opinion on nature. I never had the chance to connect with it, it's so cool to be alone jumping around bizarre landscapes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

TO MEET COOL PEOPLE! I did it few times and this is just too cool, exchanging stories, showing places to each other, it's great.

Days I am not studying at university I am available to host and surf. Still living with my dad when I am in Barcelona and he doesn't like people coming in... But send me a message and I will try to find a spot for you if I can please.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping with a £23 tent in norwegian woods -10 degrees in December. On that trip though, happened that I didn't know I was walking on a frozen lake, ice cracked and I fell in the water, when I came out I couldn't untie my boots because the water froze boot laces.
