About Me

March 2016 finished almost 4 weeks of traveling though Europe. London, Paris, Toulouse, Barcelona, Rome, Brussels, Zurich, Copenhagen. (England, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, (Germany Day trip from Zurich) and Denmark.
Rome was the most impressive, The Vatican is out of this world.
Paris was the most fun, from its history, monuments, food, friend I made. I tried Snails, very good. I want to go back.
It was an amazing experience thanks for my couchsurfing host, surfers who I hosted and my friends in England, Switzerland and Germany. I consider myself very lucky to have known someone almost in every city.

I enjoy everything about traveling, people, culture, history, music, food, and the education you achieve by traveling.

I have traveled over 120 cities in the United States, I have driven 2 times across the country from California to North Carolina and California to NY. I have been to over 20 dif cities in Mexico and have driven from US border to Cancun by car with traveling friends.

*** I collect fridge magnets, If I host you, please bring me a magnet and I will pay for it, small magnet from your city**** if possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Share and learn from traveling experiences with travelers. I have learned so much from Los Angeles just from hosting, each traveler has its own agenda and interest that I get to learn from them.

I have learned to love LA and I want to share it with the world.
I am impressed with couchsurfers from Europe, traveling for them comes more natural than people i know in America. The most impressive are the ones who are traveling the world, going country to Country no mater the obstacle of language, culture or the amount of money it can cost. Life does not have to be complicated

Culture Exchange: I have learned so much from countries like Germany, Poland, France, Italy. My surfers have cooked and baked. Most impressive was a cake from Poland.

Interests

Traveling... I think Traveling is an education of its own. I like sports (futbol primary). I have done a EuroTrip in 2009 attending live Futbol(Soccer) games, Chelsea, Arsenal, Madrid, Barcelona and Ajax. I have attended the World Cup in 2010. World Cup was amazing, 32 countries coming together for a world organized event. Everyone is being happy to represent where they are from, culture, language. Never in my life would I have thought of going to South Africa but was surprised of the greatness of this country, only by traveling did I get to learn this.

When Traveling I like to take advantage of my time(not one to stay in). Interested in History of the city, monuments, tours, food and the way local people live and feel about cities they live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music brings joy to live and it can define who we can be. Music Depends on the mood and who you are with... I like Spanish, English, French and learning new music. From Rock en Espanol, Mexican Regional, 80's 90's, Top 40's, Rock and Techno.

Movies - So many but here I go: Gladiator, The Departed, GoodFellas, Amores Perros , Y tu mama tambien, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones. But like I said so many to list.

Not a big reader - I prefer to learn from a presentation or experience in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attend the South Africa FIFA World Cup in 2010, 6 games, 8 different cities, Safari, lion zoo. Meet people from all over the world. South Africa was never a country I planned to visit but it was such an amazing country, people, joy, food.

Traveled over 120 different cities in the US and more than 20 in Mexico.

Driven Across the US country 2 times from Pacific Ocean to Atlantic Ocean.
Driven from US/Mexico Boarder North to Cancun South Border.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach you about Tequila, Tequila history and a Tequila Tasting. Share some Mexican cooking and recommendation of traveling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share a good meal, cook or go out to one of my favorite restaurants. I would share some time with guest touring LA. I have learned more about LA from Hosting than me living here for over 4 years. I like to learn from travelers too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States
