My mission is to explore the world and life, I want to see everything and experience everything (good things, of course, though you can learn positive lessons from bad things).

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name's Ramon, I'm 23 and I'm from a village nearby Figueres, Salvador Dali's hometown. I'm working on IT consulting and I'm a graduate in Maths and Mechanical Engineering. I love to travel and meet different cultures. I've traveled what I have been able too, but I plan to do it more in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

This life we have is most probably the only one we have, so we have to make the best out of it. The world is amazingly huge and my plan is to be able to understand it and see the most of it I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a couple of times. I like to give the hosts some personal space and time if they want to go alone, and at the same time I like to share time with my guests either at home or going around the city. I will invite my guests to go around with me, and at the same time, if I am invited, I will go with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good CSing experience for the moment, it is like having vacations in your own city. I have met incredible people and had wonderful experiences.

Interests

I love history, philosophy and I like to talk about politics or different cultures. I also enjoy playing rugby, basketball, football or tennis. My favourite historical character is Socrates.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ridden a llama up to an Andean mountain and seen a 4m wide Condor fly just before my eyes. The most amazing place I've been.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish and Catalan language and culture. I can teach how to play the guitar (up to a certain level, I'm not Jimi Hendrix). I can teach you how to cook some traditional spanish meals (not paella, sorry). I can show you my favourite spots in Barcelona, and like to show the city to foreigns and explain its history.

I like to learn about other cultures, places and definitely people and their own experiences.
