ABOUT ME

I am a fun loving person who loves meeting new people.

I am currently making my way through south east asia, across the The stated, then through the states to Canada to live and work.

I am a teacher, tour guide and barista. I have taught primary school in Australia and I also taught English in Korea. I have been leading free walking tours in Sydney for the past year, and I have been working on and off at coffee shops pursuing my love of coffee.

I enjoy playing sport, especially ultimate frisbee.

I enjoy playing guitar, but I am not amazing at at.

I am up for meeting new people. I want to get a feel for different places around the world.

Some of my goals for this year: Volunteer somewhere (if you have any suggestions, please let me know!), get a job in a cafe or bar in Europe (I am thinking Ireland) and to meet amazing people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently traveling, so I can not host people, however, when I am finished traveling I plan on hosting people in my beautiful home in Sydney.

Couchsurfing has been one of the greatest things I have ever been involved in. It is such and amazing thing to meet someone, be invitied into their house and to instantly interact like good friends.

I have met many people through couchsurfing circles, and I can not wait to meet some more people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, Vietnam and Malaysia. I have attended Couchsurfers meetings in Russia and Sydney.
I have met up with couch surfers in my home city, Sydney.

I enjoy bands like: Blink 182, Angels and Airwaves, 30 seconds to mars, Yellowcard, Dashboard confessional, The sick puppies, Tonight alive and many more (90's greats like Savage garden and the Backstreet boys).

I also enjoy Dubstep and some tasty drum and bass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lead Thousands of tourists around Sydney.
Taught English in South Korea for 1 year.
Ate bugs in Thailand (they were delicious.....).
Completed the trans Siberian railway.
Witnessed the Northern lights (very weak though).
Traveled to the most Northerly point in Europe (Nordkapp).
Saw the Midnight sun.
Met so many people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that you can learn something from everyone. I am keen to give people ideas of where to travel. I am very interested in learning about other cultures (I travel to see a different way of life). I can also try and help you make a delicious coffee (bear face latte art included)!
