About Me

Hello! I am Ranajay! I come from the sunny island of Singapore, and before that, a small town in India called Indore. At the beginning of 2019, I quit my job in the pharmaceuticals industry and started traveling the world to follow my dreams of farming, writing, traveling and meeting new and interesting people!

I've donated/sold 90% of my belongings so that I can live out of 2 backpacks!

I wrote my first fiction novel in 2017, titled Aoirei. That changed a lot of things for me because it made me realize that anything is possible if we put our heart and soul into it. Writing the book eventually led to me quitting my job and traveling.

I have also helped in organizing several life-coaching, meditation and shamanic healing workshops. I've done various roles over the past 2 years for these workshops including - cooking, cleaning (LOTs of cleaning!), participant welfare, hosting and sometimes even leading the workshops.

I’m currently learning how to code in Python and design websites using Django!

That was a lot of information...phew.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people with similar interests and having social and creative exchanges, so we can all learn from one another.

Interests

Working on my personal growth is the most important pursuit in my life right now (and also for the foreseeable future). It's magical, exhausting, soul-wrenching and immensely rewarding. I've done (and still doing) a lot of transformative work in the last few years in terms of self-actualization, relationships, leadership and connecting with the world.
