About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find the right balance between work and play....need a lower maintenance house/garden

ABOUT ME

#10 of 14 kids...so like a crowd and enjoy people dropping in and hanging out on my couch. I have a minifarm in my yard with fruit trees and vegetables and there's something to browse on all year round.

PHILOSOPHY

Make sure you take advantage of any breaks in the your education/professional life to take a really really long vacation. My longest travel vacation.....7 months. Hope to make another longer one sometime before I get too old.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The trail to macchu picchu without a guide in 1978. The last day of the 5-day hike we had to cross a gorge on a tiny ledge about 1 foot wide (30cm) with full backpacks and a sheer cliff above and below. It was the hardest and scariest thing I have ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach English, Biology, life lessons, how to make nice jellies and jams to preserve, how to garden, make a compost, hang a spoon from your nose, make a sound like drippy water by tapping on your cheek, hand ocarina music, beginning piano
